I am learning to create mood of mystery by deliberately leaving out information. I want my readers to want to find out what is happening

One  beautiful morning a 12 year old girl named Galicia moved to America with her dad.

One night while Galicia was up her dad told her to drink her medicine so she will get better she had the flu.She grabbed her medicine and drank some. Galicia walked into her room and fell asleep.

Later that night she stood up and faced the mirror and saw her skin all white and she thought  it was her sickness.She started scratching herself she looked at her nails they were growing long.She was feeling hungry. She found a red apple she put it in her mouth and sucked all the red out of it. She hated the taste . A short while later she fell a sleep.

She was dreaming of herself turning into a vampire she could hear scary voices telling her “Galicia,Galicia,Galicia you drank the wrong medicine now you will pay”, she replied “what a joke.”She suddenly woke up with a terrifying fright and rolled of the bed and yelled angrily Ouch!! she got up and went down stairs and got ready for breakfast.She could feel her body shaking as she sat down at the table.She saw her hair growing longer she quickly grabbed some scissors and cut her hair when dad was distracted by the TV but her hair kept on growing back. She even tried to use a shaver. It still grew back! It still didn’t work.

Galicia was a bit embarrassed.So she put her hoody over her head.

She ran up to her room and stared into the mirror before asking herself “what is it what’s wrong with me”.A tear of sadness rolled down her cheek. She said to herself  it feels  like I’ve never been to this place before its like my heart has been scrunched up into pieces and had been thrown away.She took a close look at herself again.

Her eyes turned red and Galicia opened her mouth and large spiky triangle teeth were growing out of her mouth. Her head spun around it was like she was on a roller coaster spinning around too many times her heart started to shrink smaller and smaller until it stung.

A second later her body turned evil, so evil she was feeling hungry.

Galicia walked down the stairs and looked at her dad sitting on the chair.Dad asked quietly “are you alright” she paused in a funny pose and looked like she was ready for a midnight feast.Dad was frightened. “ What are you?” dad said.She stood there and said in a creepy voice I am your vampire daughter. Galicia forced dad to become her slave.  

Galicia was feeling hungry dad had to find her some food.All dad found was red juicy meat “well, that will do” he said. Dad gathered the meat and gave it to Galicia the vampire.Slurp!! Galicia started to eat.

Soon Galicia was thirsty again she was thirsty for blood of a living thing .

So dad went out searching for living blood!

When finally it was time.Dad walked into the lounge and gave Galicia the drink.She drunked it.”Yuck!” Galicia Yelled “what is this”.Galicia got very angry. Galicia was so angry she wanted to eat him. She realized she couldn’t move something was wrong. Hahaha dad chanted i poisened you. Her hair grew shorter.Her teeth grew back to normal and her eyes turned back  brown.

She turned straight back to normal.Dad stood up and said “Galicia is that you” she said yes.

When dad went searching for blood. instead dad was going to trick Galicia with something else.Dad grabbed some raspberries and squeezed them into a cup.Dad snuck into the fridge and grabbed the human medicine he added it into the cup of raspberries and mixed it around.Dad grabbed the vampire medicine and Berried it in the woods.

Galicia and dad moved back to New Zealand and they lived happily ever after.
